Frequently asked questions

My Trading Book

Does MetaTrader need to stay open?

Yes, while syncing: the expert advisor reads the terminal's history and sends it.

How many accounts can I track?

As many as you like, with one key per account. Demo and hidden accounts stay out of the totals.

What if I change brokers?

You add the new account. The old one stays, with its full history.

Is my data sold?

No, never, to anyone. It is only used to run your account.

Can I leave with my data?

Full export as CSV or JSON, whenever you want, without asking anyone.

How does the trial work?

14 days, no credit card. At the end, you choose whether to subscribe; nothing is charged without your consent.

What happens to my history if my broker closes my account?

It stays in My Trading Book: every synced trade is stored here. Only the sync stops. Just make sure the expert advisor is attached before the account closes: once it is closed, MetaTrader can no longer send anything.

Can I sync from MetaTrader on my phone?

No: the MetaTrader mobile app runs no expert advisors. You can still trade from your phone, though: the EA reads the account history, and will send those trades as soon as a desktop MetaTrader logged into the same account is open, on your computer or on a virtual private server (VPS) that runs all the time.

Can I import an existing history?

Yes, with a CSV following the template provided, or by letting the expert advisor send the account's full history.

What can the assistant do?

It reads your journal and produces figures: your biggest loss, the pairs you are best on, a breakdown by month or by account. Every figure comes from the product, never from an estimate. It refuses to add up the four account kinds, which do not combine, and it separates a funded account's result from the share that is yours. It judges neither your win rate nor your risk size: those are your rules, not its own, and it does not know them.

How many questions per month?

Fifty on a simple plan, seventy-five on the bundle, one hundred on the pro bundle. The count restarts on the first of each month, and it is the question asked that counts, not time spent: a broad question costs no more than a short one.

Where do my questions go?

To Mistral AI, in France, for as long as it takes to get the answer. What goes: your question, and the figures the product produced to answer it. What never goes: your sign-in credentials, and your trade screenshots, which none of the assistant's tools reads.

How long do you keep my conversations?

Ninety days after the last message, then they are deleted automatically. They are encrypted in the database meanwhile. And you can choose, in your profile, to keep none: nothing is then written, neither question nor answer. Keeping nothing is not sending nothing — the question still goes out to get the answer.

My Wealth Book

What exactly does My Wealth Book track?

Anything that has a value: current accounts, savings, brokerage, crypto, peer lending, life insurance, pensions, property, vehicles, valuables, company shares — and the loans weighing on them. Spending and income come too, because a net worth that rises without your knowing why teaches nothing.

Do I have to type everything in?

No. You import your statements as CSV or PDF, and your broker's position exports. Typing is left for what no file gives: what a flat is worth, what a watch costs.

Is there a bank connection?

No, and that is a choice. No middleman holds the keys to your accounts. In exchange you have to drop your statements in — which takes a few minutes a month.

How long before the figures get interesting?

The first month gives a photograph: what you own, and how it is spread. History comes with the statements: importing five years of movements gives five years of curve on day one.

Can I track several people's wealth?

Yes, with separate wealth profiles — you, a parent, a company — and read or write sharing for whoever you choose, without sharing your password. How many profiles you can write in depends on the plan: the base one gives yours plus one more, and beyond that you move up a step. A profile you create and a profile shared with you count the same, and a share received beyond the quota is still accepted, read-only.

What can I do without a subscription?

Read and export, without limit and without end: the pages open with a simple sign-up. It is writing that needs an active subscription. If yours lapses you keep everything and can pick it all up again — you simply cannot record anything new.

What if I need more than two profiles?

The base plan gives two you can write in: yours, and one more — whether you created it or it was shared with you. Beyond that, the pro plan makes them unlimited, at $12 a month or $120 a year. It is not offered at sign-up: you switch to it from your subscription, as a plan change, and only the difference is charged, pro rata. Reading and exporting stay unlimited either way, however many profiles are shared with you.

In which currencies?

All of them. Each account keeps its own, totals read in the one you pick, and a block says what you hold in each.

Is this investment advice?

No. Nothing recommends buying, selling or holding anything, no figure is a forecast, and no tax is computed.

Is my data sold?

No, never, to anyone. It is only used to run your account, and you can leave with it as a full export whenever you want.

How does the trial work?

30 days on My Wealth Book and on the bundle, no credit card. At the end, you choose whether to subscribe; nothing is charged without your consent, and what you recorded stays readable and exportable.

What can the assistant do?

It reads what you recorded and produces figures: your wealth, how it splits, what an investment returned, what you spent category by category — each with its currency and its valuation date. It also says what is missing instead of filling the gap: an account with no statement, a currency with no known rate. It recommends nothing and does not judge your allocation: if it mentions a gap, it is against the target allocation you set yourself.
